Format: Interactive sessions, focusing on the role of the primary care provider with regard to the content are prefered.  Most sessions are scheduled for 50-minutes starting on the hour (8am, 9am, 10am, 11am or 12 pm) - Breakfast is available for the 8am session and lunch is available for noon sessions.

 

Target Audience: Family Medicine residents (PGY1, 2, & 3), medical students will also be present as will faculty. 10-20 people are usually in attendance depending on availability.

 

Audio-Visual Equipment:

 

  • Powerpoint presentations should be brought to the conference room on an USB drive or emailed in advance to the Didactic Coordinator (Peter Cronholm: peter.cronholm@uphs.upenn.edu)
  • High-speed Internet access available
  • Overhead projector available (and can be dusted off if needed)
  • VHS video with monitors available
  • Dry erase board and markers available
  • Flip-Boards available upon request

 

Location: The majority of didactics occur on the 6th floor of the Andrew Mutch Building (http://www.facilities.upenn.edu/mapsBldgs/view_map.php3?id=463 ; http://www.facilities.upenn.edu/mapsBldgs/view_bldg.php3?id=178) at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center at 39th and Market Street.  Noon conferences will have lunch provided and will occur in the Solarium (top floor of the Mutch Building).  The solarium is accessible only with proper ID.  Please see our departmental coordinator (Ashley Felder: ashley.felder@uphs.upenn.edu) for access to this conference room - she is located in the administrative area to the right of the elevators on the 6th floor of the Mutch Building.  A map below is available for downloading.
